We're planning on using Lines for our upcoming trip, so I spent a little
time today getting to know it. I saw that someone in line for TSM reported
a wait time of 120 minutes. It got me wondering -- is there anything I
would wait for 2 hours to see or do at WDW? I don't think so. And what
would be the maximum amount of time I'd wait in line for something? I
remember getting in line for a 30-minute wait for Peter Pan because my
younger son was afraid of 3D movies (older son and DH went to
PhilharMagic).

Is there anything you would wait in line 2 hours for at WDW? What's the
maximum posted wait time that you'd go ahead and step in line for?

Even if we're with a "guest" that really wants to do ride X, there is
not way that we'd wait 1+ hours for a ride. For one thing, if we're
with "guests" then we make sure that they know the best way to ride
rides is to get up in the morning and get moving and beat the lines. I
think we've waited 45 minutes (posted wait times) for some things when
it's been more than just us two -- but rarely, very rarely.

When we're at WDW with friends who are also long-time AP-holders,
anything over 30 minutes gets the ki-bosh. The biggest reason I'm
hesitant to go to WWoHP anytime soon, the lines and crowds are
supposed to be horrific.

As much as we love WDW (and I'm sure DL when we finally get there!), I doubt
there is anything we'd wait that long for. We would rather move on to
something else and try again later. I think my threshold would be about 30
minutes. We've been pretty lucky - I don't think we've ever waited longer
than 20 minutes or so, even when we've gone during March break. We just get
up early, beat the crowds, and see what we really want to see. We just try
to adjust our expectations depending on the time of year we go.

Good thread!

My boyfriend (at the time) and I waited a couple of hours when Indy
first opened at Disneyland. He whined the whole time. I was comparing
him to a three-year-old-kid until a netfriend pointed out that his
own three-year-old is fine in long lines for rides. I offered a swap,
but got no takers. :-)

My limit is about 20-30 minutes, depending on the attraction. Many WDW
guests consider their visit to be a "once in a lifetime experience." I
have an AP and have been a DVC member for years. I'm not your "typical"
guest. If I don't get to ride "it" today, I'll catch it tomorrow, or on the
next trip.
