The good news, the really great news, and the incredibly horrible news:
First the good news.

Many of you may have seen this page before but it has a new element at the
bottom.
_3D Character Cavalcade, Heart Shaped Box_ a touching scene in 3D video.

Mickey and Minnie and face time. All of the characters gathered inside
because it had been raining outside. I had so much fun I had completely
forgotten that I was at Disneyland for the Grand Re-opening of the
completely refurbished "it's a small world". February 6, 2008. "Heart
Shaped Box" can be found at:

The good news part 2:
No longer is it up to the viewer to start, and keep in synchronization, each
half of the 3D crosseye freeviewing. I've got a handle on YouTube 3D and
have reposted several of the scenes on the page in the new format, where
just one click starts both.

The really great news:
The new YouTube 3D format allows the viewer to pick their viewing
preference. So, just because I prefer one viewing format doesn't mean you
are forced to view it that way. You may prefer to put on your paper red/blue
movie souvenirs for anaglyphic viewing, or spread your eyes for parallel
viewing, or even have shutter-glasses connected to your computer that
rapidly blink the left/right eye, showing each the correct image. To select
your viewing style, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbMxALKhbWg and
hover your mouse over the "3D" in the lower right corner of the video. The
pull-up menu has plenty of alternative choices for your viewing pleasure.
Your selection sets a cookie, so your choice persists for every (properly
posted) YouTube 3D.

The incredibly horrible news:
My financial world has collapsed, out of work since February I'm faced with
the prospect of being homeless and facing the stigma which accompanies that.
To paraphrase a paraphrase, the Simpsons episode "Fear of Flying" quote by
Lisa - "The Chinese word for 'crisis' is opportunity." (which can also be
disputed
http://www.homejapan.com/2008/12/debunked_crisis_danger_opportunity )
For me, this means I am again without ball-and-chain, unfettered with
possessions, I am free to relocate. Preferentially that would be to work at
Walt Disney World, allowing a few hours a week roaming the parks.

Please do enjoy my gift in stereoscopic vision.

Thank you Wiz for the site update, and my best wishes to you finding
work soon. It's really an ugly time for our country.
