Hay all

Just wondering if anyone has used the new ACE Bus Service in Las
Vegas.

I have a cheap rental car booked with Payless knowing that I can
cancel it if need be. I like having the car to get some off strip
locations, but it is mostly parked for hours at a time in a casino's
parking garage, so I really don't use it that much. Would not be so
bad, but all the taxes and fees can often drive the price up quit a
lot.

I found the Deuce Bus Service to be okay last year, but sometimes was
very slow and often over crowed. Just wondering if this new service is
a that much of a step up.

Thanks
Michael

The (ACE) Gold Line on the Strip makes fewer stops than the Deuce does, which makes
it faster.

Check the route map to see if it stops where you want.

It stops at both outlets depending on which one I decide to shop at.
Also stops at Fremont Street, as well as several stops along the
strip. Would have to walk to a few places from the drop off point, but
that is not a big deal. Now I just wonder if it is as crowded at the
Deuce or not.

The one time I rode the Gold Line, in June, I boarded at Excalibur going south, so I
can't say for sure how crowded it was in the heart of the Strip. I'm guessing not
very, since only a couple of people got off where I boarded and there were only a few
on the bus with me. The infrequent stops should discourage most Strip tourists from
boarding, unless they get on by mistake.
