I usually use Thrifty and saw that Advantage is pretty cheap right now
for Oct. 31 to Nov. 6 trip.
Thrifty is at $231 for the week and Advantage is $155 for a Chevy
Cobalt. Thrifty is around $200
if I book 31 to 4th and 4th to 6th. Any problems with advantage, I've
been happy with Thrifty
the last 5 trips or so.

Thanks

Does Thrifty have a price match deal?

Some not-so-good reviews at Yelp...

http://www.yelp.com/biz/advantage-rent-a-car-las-vegas-2

Then again, a lot of car-rental reviews seem to be horror stories.

Myself, I've not used Advantage either, so I'd probably book the Thrifty for $200 if
it's refundable, and keep looking for a better deal.

You checked carrentals.com for prices? (It will compare ALL major
rental agencies.)

One thing to take into account is that with certain promotional offers
on mileage, a "more expensive" rental can actually be less expensive.
When a car rental company affiliated with Southwest offers quadruple
credit on rentals, for instance, it means that renting a car for a
weekend gives you as much Rapid Rewards credit as taking a round trip
(2 credits; 16 credits gets you a free round trip).

I usually value a round-trip Southwest flight at around $300, so each
Southwest Rapid Rewards credit is worth $20 to me.

This is an offer for Thrifty right now:

Sometimes they offer 4x credit (this one is double credit).

It would seem Advantage does not offer frequent flyer award credit.

Thanks for the tips guys. I did find some poor reviews( from Yelp I
think) about Advantage
so I think I'll stick with Thrifty.
Thanks,
