No doubt, they're making it expensive. Personally, I think that's fine
providing the service they offer is good, so I'll be interested to know
what your experience is- and hope it's a good one.

This is something we planned for from the start, so I made sure that
that some of the utilities were in his name. We were obviously both on
the council tax. With the bank statements, that should be enough.

I'm self-employed too BTW.

Yes, that shouldn't matter.

The only document we had in both our names was the council tax.

Oh, we found it quite easy- we applied in Bury. The chap who filled out
all the paperwork actually commented that he quite enjoyed chatting to
us- I got the impression that a lot of people turning up at the office
are quite beligerent- both from his comments, and the language and tone
of a lot of the people in the waiting room.

Call a policeman over. (This is an airport after all)

Inform him of what has happened.

After the smoke clears you then ask to borrow enough money to call the
nearest British consulate...

And a blanket...

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.
