100 degrees here in the Lehigh Valley, PA yesterday. (My backyard
thermometer hit 104.) Officially, it reached 98 today. At least it's a
good excuse to avoid trimming the hedges.

On a better note my daughter decided to visit us in FL this Christmas.
So, I can shorten my usual holiday trip to PA. She purchased an Amtrak
ticket from Philly to Kissimmee. Then she will return with us.

I just remembered my FL resident seasonal pass will be 'in blackout'
when she comes. Darn!!! (My wife has an AP, so I guess there will be
some mother-daughter days.)

And it hit 100 here on my back porch in Stroudsburg PA. Really hot for our
area and the humidity is really high as well.

It was hotter here in Pittsburgh than it was in Orlando today.
