From: A Mate on 6 Nov 2007 01:32 'Angkor Wat' as a generic, covers many seperate temples spread over a big area. It takes 3 days for a 'quickie' tour as it is - even if Angkor itself is closed, which I doubt, there remains much to see and explore. To be more accurate, "Angkor" is the general area, "Angkor Wat" is the specific complex which is the largest and most important of the temples in Angkor. So, we should say that even if Angkor Wat is closed, there will still be much to see and explore in Angkor. |
