From: John Sisker on 7 Apr 2010 09:07 Did anyone see the March 28, 2010 article in the Orange County Register by Chris Riemenschneider of the Minneapolis Star Tribune called " Asea With Sharks?" This was apparently his first cruise, and he spend the majority of the article knocking everything from the food to the private island. To me, the article was rather upsetting, not only for obvious reasons, but seemed to be based on a rather snobbish attitude, and with the obvious fact that he didn't do his homework first in picking the right cruise and cruise line, based on his likes and dislikes, to begin with, but just for the cheapest 3-night cruise he could find. He didn't even mention a travel agent in his article, so that decision must have come from him alone, with the all too typical attitude of a ship is a ship, and a cruise is a cruise. I feel it would have been a totally different story if he had actually picked the right ship, cruise line and itinerary based on his lifestyle to begin with, instead of simply trying to compare Disneyland to a local street corner carnival.
