I am not saying their reputation is deserved but the description of the sailing by Tom W sounds like what people always said about Carnival. Your posting that it was NYC hooligans is the stretch. I have sailed out of New York City many times. On Princess, Celebrity, NCL and HAL. Also New Jersey on Celebrity and RCI. Never had any hooligans or a sailing that was rowdy. -- Charles

Maybe Tom was just unlucky. I've sailed Carnival and never ran into this ever, so it has to be the group from NYC with the wrist bands who were the hooligans.
