A number of years ago we were in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. A choir
from Poland that was touring the cathedral started singing. They had
beautiful voices... and then a priest came over to them and told them to
STOP.

Thanks for the info about the Groove Cruise. I saw a lot of t-shirts that
said "Get Whet", now I know what it meant. I wouldn't mind so much if the
loud group kept the noise in the dance halls but it was the noise and total
disrespect that they had for other passengers while in their rooms and in
the hallways late into the night. My son heard some of the group on the
balcony say that they didn't care what the rules were and they would make
their own rules. At breakfast everyone at our table for 2 days were
complaining about the rowdy group, one person said that they went to the
security to complain but nothing was done. Most of this group did not
resemble any professional types but I guess that business suits would cover
all the tattoos and cleavage.
As far as Carnival is concerned I don't know if it's their responsibility
to warn other passengers about any large groups but it would have been nice
to know before we booked it. But despite all the noise as well as the in
room safe not locking and the TV stopped working after 2 days and no one
coming up to fix either of these problems after calling the customer
service, we still had a good time.

They can't warn you about groups but it is Carnival's responsibility to
keep order. With a large group that can be difficult. Perhaps this
group should not be booked if they can't follow the rules. The group
which is done by the Whet travel agency, should have police itself too.
You might want to write Carnival about your experience.

Actually, Carnival does attempt to keep the guests under control. There
have been several times that Ermalee and I have been confined to our
respective cabins.
