The generation companies generate a bunch of electricity, and the
accounts are settled in arrears. Again, since it's entirely fungible, so
long as the aggregate amount being generated covers the demand, the
individual players can trade past surpluses and deficits at their
leisure.

Are you seriously interested in the answers to these questions? I would
think someone of your boundless intellect would have little difficulty
puzzling out that which is basically obvious.
