What extreme cold is there in Southern California? it did snow once in San
Diego, briefly, but that was in 1912.

Almost got stranded there even longer today - First BA flight
cancelled - nicely they sent me an SMS at 7am waking me up and telling
me to give them a call - in office hours - so I'm not sure what the
point of telling me then was, and then getting to my car from LHR took
hours on the bus during the thunderstorms this afternoon - not a fun
travel day today.
