Gulmarg

Leh Ladakh

Vaishno Devi Shrine

Vaishno Devi Shrine is located about 50 km away from Jammu town. The
temple is dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, incarnation of Goddess
Durga. It is located at an altitude of about 52,000 feet above sea
level. One has to climb a trek of 12 km, from the base town Katra, to
reach temple. A large number of visitors flock this holy shrine
throughout the year. Helicopter facilities are also available to reach
the temple from Katra town.

Amarnath Shrine

Amarnath shrine is located at a distance of about 145 km from Srinagar
city. It is one of the holiest places of Hindus in India. Dedicated to
Lord Shiva, Amarnath Shrine's main attraction is the naturally formed
Shiva Lingam of ice. Best time to visit Amarnath Shrine is from July
to August, as it remains cut off from rest of the world because of the
heavy snowfall in the area.
