My family, 6 of us, are flying form Detroit to Fort Lauderdale (FLL) on
October 18th for a Carnival cruise out of Miami on the 19th.

My wife looked into ground transportation from Fort Lauderdale to the Miami
Hilton. She found a shuttle for $18.00 per person.

Does anyone here know of a limo service, shuttle, or other ground
transportation that will get us from FLL to Miami cheaper?

Hi, Frank, your plans sound like fun!

Two different cruises, the latest in mid-August, we've used a young
man named Edrey Garcia for our FLL-Miami transfers. He charged a flat
rate of $90 for our family of five.

Edrey is very reliable, easy to work with, drives a clean vehicle and
is a good driver.

So nice to see you on this board! I put Edreys name in my rolodex,
Always nice to hear someone who others used and liked.

There is also a company I have not used yet that has a stretch Limo
that does it for 5 people for $99. SO I think we will be using them
this time because one of the woman in our group, its her Honeymoon,
and we thought we not tell her and get a Limo to pick us up and
thought it a real fair price.
But Edrey will be surely put to use by us!

2 cabs would only be marginally cheaper ... if at all - traffic could
eat up any savings quickly ... and even make it more expensive ...

six people is tough ...

My wife called and booked our fare with Edrey yesterday. We will pass on
you hellos upon our arrival.
