From: Peppermint Patty on 14 Jul 2010 10:06 Do the scheduled days and times ever change for Fantasmic? Right now it's three times a week but the first show is at 9 or something like that. I'm wondering if it runs earlier in the winter months?

I can recall it changing a couple of times in the months preceding our trip last December. My preliminary schedule, assembled from Disney's Web site, called for shows Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6:30. The week we arrived, we noticed they had added one show on each off-day and a second show on Thursday and Saturday. (This was all for the week of December 5-12, 2009). Hope that helps.

From: Peppermint Patty on 14 Jul 2010 12:14 Thank you so much, Steve. That helps tremendously! We will have two little girls, 11 months and 2 years old this next trip and I would love them to see my favorite show. Although I am a little worried about whether they will like it or be frightened and scarred for life!!!! By the way, with two little ones this age do you foresee endless rides on IASW this trip for us? I don't want to be confined to MK for 6 days!!!

They had two showings of Fantasmic, at 9 and 10:30 (park closing 10 PM). I did RnR from 8:25 to 9:25 (that's entering the single-rider lane to exiting the attraction). At 9:25 PM, the line for the 10:30 PM show stretched the *entire* length of Sunset Boulevard, all the way back to Hollywood Boulevard. And, I don't mean just a "line." One entire lane (i.e. from the white stripe down the center of the street to the sidewalk) was filled completely. We're talking sardine can -- please move all the way to the front filling-in each and every available space -- kind of full. I'm guessing an average of eight people wide, all the way down the street. If there is a God, one only hopes that the CMs have some real idea of where cut-off capacity actually is in a line of this type. (Not to mention the people that will be cutting in line, after the one member of their party actually standing in line makes the cell-phone call summoning them.) With "two little girls, 11 months and 2 years old," I would *strongly* encourage the first show (if at all), under these type of conditions. Me? I got myself over to the TTC (drove my own car), and watched the MK Nightastic fireworks from just behind the ferry boat dock. Having seen the show from inside the park, this was a *much* better view of the fireworks -- particularly with all the perimeter blasts (from eight different locations) during the last third of the show. If you can get there in time, I would imagine the beach at the Poly would be just about the absolutely best spot to watch *this* show from.
