From: ah on 7 Dec 2007 15:46 I am not sure now if you'll ever read this, as this thread is starting to be a bit ancient but let's try anyway. Goteborg, yes, I have been there, long ago, I think that we took the ferry somewhere in Denmark (perhaps Frederickshavn?) and arrived in Goteborg then drove all the way to the North Cape through Norway and back across Finland & Sweden. I have a great admiration for Bergman. Actually he is my soulmate, alter ego, god, cinemawise. I find his films extremely powerful. I feel everything strongly but don't have his genius to express myself. The day after he died, i.e. on the 31st of July 2007 we did a climb in the French Alps. I asked my alpinist friends that we dedicate the climb to Ingmar Bergman, and they all accepted. Just in case you would be interested, the photographs of the climb are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nicc/sets. Bergman's climb is the Tsanteleina 3,606m. Yes, I am interested in caves, thank you for the tip. -- ah "r Freud" <drfreud(a)mymail.com> wrote in message news:fj1laf$dsi$1(a)news.datemas.de... > On 03.12.2007 18:32 , ah wrote: >> No, the Bergman week is not really new. From: ah on 7 Dec 2007 15:49 Thank you very much for this link. Yes, Uppsala, of course. I searched for Strmsberg in Google maps and found 4. - Strmsberg, Tierp, Uppsala - Strmsberg, Karlskrona, Blekinge - Strmsberg, 66298 ml, Vstra Gtaland - Strmsberg station I tried the four of them and in the end Strmsberg Tierp seems to me the most probable, as it is North of Uppsala so it could perhaps be upland? But it is just a guess, of course. About Ransjo, I found Ransjvgen but I am not sure it is the one. About Tureholm Castle, Google found a reference: from 1738, located in the outskirts of Trosa. Trosa & Dillnas are both South West of Stockholm. It looks like I am progressing, thanks to you all. -- ah "Joe Pessarra" <joepessarra(a)suddenlink.net> wrote in message news:HKY4j.2111$Ft5.860(a)newsfe15.lga... > > "ah" <anonewsgr(a)hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:13krbnnjb4mscc5(a)corp.supernews.com... >>I looked for this place in Google maps but could not find it. I was just about to ask you what hmhmhmhm..makes anyone climb such a high mountain when you easily could fly even higher without any effort at all... but after having seen the photos I kind of saw the answer to that one.. really breathtaking. Im sure he would have loved that trip himself... and who knows... maybe he did. After all...everything is possible, right? Hope youll be having a real great trip to Faro & Gotland.. |
