I just tried and you can get a fairly high resolution view of
1600 Pennsylvania Av, NW, Washington DC tho' not 3-d buildings.

Are the roofs of the White House and it's directly - adjoining
buildings blanked - out...???

It came 30th in last years Reporters sans Frontieres ranking of nations by
press freedom - not perfect, but ahead of Australia, the U.S. and Japan,
for example.
