Not specifically; they usually call other people stupid, often without
any basis for doing so beyond their own emotional knee-jerk reactions.

I am not corrected, I am criticized. I see little or not evidence of
anyone actually looking anything up. In many cases, it is glaringly
obvious that some people have chosen to criticize without ever
verifying anything of what I've said.

They often know manifestly less. And upon discovering this, their
emotional reaction is so strong that they immediately launch into
personal attacks rather than look up the facts and correct whatever
misconceptions or gaps in their knowledge that they might have.

I think in part bullies are irritated by people who fail to respond to
their taunts with the same degree of emotional loss of control that
they feel in themselves. They may also incorrectly assume that the
lack of a strong and similar reaction in others is a sign of weakness.
