Yes, it shocks me too. Obviously, they need to adopt the US style of lame-arsed journalism. US journalists make the French ones seem like highly intelligent, probing, pit-bull terriers. I listen to NPR quite a bit, which you probably consider way too left. I had to turn it off- I'd not realised just how whacko right-wing US 'journalism' often is. Of course, for hard-core right wing I suppose you could turn to Fux- no doubt your fave- but that's a cartoon.
