I get asked for directions or somesuch from time to time when in
Europe. But I generally wear a wool sport coat, not least because
it has generous inside and out pocket space, and I do't carry
much in the way of tourist paraphernalia.

Now you've done it, next trip will your pick-pocketing experience!

We travelled for years without incident, apart from a car
being broken into at a hotel in Chester, then we got hit three
times, first time getting off a bus in Catania Sicily, in Barcelona
on the Metro escalator, the old dropping a coin trick, and lastly
in Bordeaux. Since these incidents we dress down and secure all
the really valuables in inside puches.

Nothing stolen in the last ten years, but we are more alert.

Totally depends on how long her tongue was or how good looking, Jack.

Or both. :)

Hi bart! I was going over my stock portfolio and have a few extra hot
shares of BP that I could sell to you...as a friend should, of course.

Our college fraternity maid's name was Tilley which I am sure has
nothing at all to do with this thread.
