Peter,

Thank you for the input. My question and thoughts about value, please
chime in on this, we do prefer single open seating for all meals, not
worrying about my special diet request, we both drink alcohol and do
enjoy wine with dinner frequently (we do this at home), what about the
service provided on Celebrity or HAL?

Can you address that for me, as I have not been on either of those
lines.

Also, what itineraries would you recommend I consider for Jan 11 as
opposed to Caribbean? It appears as if the lines you recommended for
value all go to the same "major" ports or places where I can easily
fly into for a week visit or so.

Thank you again - Bo1953

Bo, Peter is mostly a troll... other than those few days a year when he
crawls out and behaves... so take Peter with a grain of salt.

Though... (and not sure about whether it's the rainy season there, or a
nice time of year in Dec/Jan)... but if you really want to consider
alternatives... definitely look at the Paul Gauguin in Tahiti. Many
people feel that's the "best" cruise experience in the whole world
(ship, drinks, service, food, itinerary... all rolled in together).

I love Celebrity and HAL... BUT they are mass market. The lines you're
looking at are not mass market. They're in a different league.

This isn't cruising, this is yachting, be sure you understand the
minute and large differences. The primary activities on this ship are
boozing, snoozing, social talk with the other pax, and off the ship
(sightseeing, shop, etc).

Google any posts between Charles and I. We are a fun couple like you

We need to look into the Sea Dream, Charles, it sounds dreamy!
