Got a nice e-mail from JetBlue today apologizing for the broken
entertainment system and the dirty plane on my recent round trip with them.

They also issued a $40 credit to my account. This is in addition to the
$15 credit they automatically give everyone on a flight with a broken
entertainment system, and a $25 credit they gave because the flight was
more than an hour late.

Pretty soon I'll have enough credits for a whole flight. I lost $200 in
credits they gave me when they canceled a route for a flight that I held
four tickets for because the credits expired before I could use them.
But they were really nice about restoring an expired $200 credit for a
canceled flight that I had used on flights that I needed to rebook for a
later date due to a death in the family (though they did not waive the
$100 per ticket cancellation charge).
