I did find the David Arkenstone but I didn't like it as much as others so I didn't add it. Also, the Midnight Sun isn't on Frank's list but I *swear* I've heard it played on some of the internet Disney theme park radio stations before, and I really like it. ~Amanda

It feels really weird to not be bathed in great music when you're in the lobby or out by the pool. ~Amanda

Maybe they figure that "Anchors Aweigh" would wear thin after a while? :-) Seriously, though, that is too bad about the lack of ambient music. I know how much it adds to the atmosphere of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Patty

Yes, music is definitely a big part of the Disney experience. I am sure that the Imagineers choose pieces that will evoke certain feelings and moods to match the venue. Many of the attraction use music to help build anticipation for the ride, while others just use it as an overall theme. > It's almost like Disney uses music that causes a subliminal flashback > to the parks when it is heard... kind of the way druggies say certain > smells or colors or settings might cause a longing to use again. I listen to classical music on public radio all day in my office, so I do often hear compositions that remind me of Disney. And yes, I feel like a druggie sometimes in wanting to get me Disney fix when I hear it! -- - RODNEY Tentative Next WDW Vacation Spring Break 2008! (??? Days To Go)
From: Princess Buttercup aka Ginny Favers Former Captive Princess of Chickapin Hill on 2 Jul 2007 15:49 Just another update, it turns out there are three or four tracks on that loop that are only available from a commercial music service called Omnimusic. Now I guess I have to find someone with the actual files to share, because they aren't available to individuals to purchase! Boy is Disney missing the boat on this. I can't imagine how many copies they could sell off their website of downloadable theme park tracks. ~Amanda
