From: Jeff on 30 Dec 2006 22:40 Hi all, My wife, son (10), daughter (7) and I will be traveling for 11 days on the Dawn Princess this February. It's not our first time to the Mexican Riviera, but it's been 4 years. I'm a bit disappointed with the on ship excursions. Are there any off ship excursions that you would recommend? Our ports will be Mazatlan, Acapulco, Zijuatineo, Porta Vallarta and Cabo. Thanks, Jeff

Don't know what you like to do ... but dune buggies in the countryside ... Deep sea fishing ... Cliff divers in Acapulco ....Google the name of the town and excursion or tour ... You'll come up with many ... You can get a car and driver for a personal tour for like $25/hour ... just a couple of blocks off the dck ...
From: Kelly Thruman on 30 Dec 2006 23:03 Hi Jeff, My husband and I went on the Mexican Riviera sailing several years ago as well. We went horse back riding in Puerta Vallarta and it was the best trip we have ever been on. We went up in the mountains and watched the sun set. My husband is in bed already so I can't ask if we took a ship excursion or if it was booked on our own. If you are interested I can get more information for you. Have a great time!! Kelly

There were kids on both. ~ Peri

Yes, that would be great information. Thanks, Kelly! We took Randi's Happy Horses in Mazatlan and it was a lot of fun, but I'd rather not do the same thing twice.
