From: meshmar on 30 Jul 2010 23:58 Tonight was the Calhoun-Liberty Relay For Life http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=106190756092460 2010 Relay For Life Finale & 2011 Sneak Peek. Since I am a member of the Committee and have members of my family that are Survivors - as well as some that are no longer with us - (not to mention the inspiration of Sue), I felt obligated to be there. I spent most of my time sitting at the Registration Table doing my job there, but had time to make a lap for last years Committee - as well as the Luminaria Lap! I made sure I was well rested before going, so it was not as bad as I expected, and I was prepared to stop and rest at any time during my walk. It ended up that I could SLOWLY make my way around with no stops. I did take somewhat longer than anyone else - but I DID the walk! I will probably pay the price tomorrow, but I feel it was worth the price ... After PiC forced me to go out and work in the yard last year after the major chemo sessions, I don't think I had a muscle on my entire body that didn't complain. I think it even hurt when I blinked. My legs are complaining some - but within reasonable limits.
