Brighton is another possibility on the south coast. There's also
Winchester.

I believe its about 2 hours by train. Trains depart from King's
Cross.

Two hours by train.

The National Railway Museum is next door to the railway station, the other
major attractions in York are a short cab ride away.

There is loads to see there and you won't do it all in a day.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.

So do I.

But York 'centre' isn't an easy place to find from the railway station if
you're a stranger.

Getting in a cab and saying "Clifford's Tower please" is simple.

Not sure I'd agree. There are signs for a start. That's what we did, and
it was fine.
