Thanks, Tim. How long ago was your visit?

I spent a day there on my way to Scilly. I didn't get the impression that I
had under-stayed.

I only take hand luggage too, almost all the time. I normally take
enough socks and underwear for the entire trip and throw them away
after use. That's because wrinkled dirty clothes take up much more
space than folded clean clothes.

I've done this for as much as a 28-day trip to Rome.

Underwear takes little space IME, and if in summer, I don't take many
socks anyway, as I will generally wear sandals...

True it's expensive, but there are cheaper choices on Capri than the
expensive ones.

Your choice, but that's not for me. I've been there at least 7-8
times, for as long as a week at once. I'm going again at the end of
this year for a week.

It depends entirely on what you like. Not to try to talk you into
anything, but I prefer Capri.
