I happened to walk past that pawn shop today. I don't watch the show,
but so many here talk about it I caught some You Tube clips. I like to
slum around downtown and have been doing so regularly in the past 10
years since I moved back to Vegas. I've probably walked past that tiny
shop a thousand times and never gave it a second thought. The funny
thing is, I've been in the pawn shop that's just a little ways south
of it on the other side of the street at least twice in the past few
months to browse. I then walked behind it, past the little two story
tattoo shop, as part of my usual stroll and there were a couple of
guys in black shirts in the back doorway smoking. Probably a couple of
guys you see on TV. But I never would've given them a second thought
before, so I figured I wouldn't now either. I wonder what will become
famous next, the dry cleaners?

As a follow up You Tube for the time being has full episodes. I'm
finding hard to believe that people are walking into an average
looking pawn shop to try selling specialized antiques. Not with all
the antique shops not that far up the road.
They always seem to have to call in someone from a shop that the
seller it seems would most likely have gone to themselves. Take the
guy with the little antique revolver for instance. They take it over
to The Gun Store on E. Tropicana.
You'd think the guy would've gone to a gun shop himself. Personally I
would've taken it to Discount Firearms on Highland to put on
consignment.

Aw, and your nonexistant credibility crumbles away.

I think the folks that go there to sell their sh*t know they're not
going to get as good a deal as they could on Ebay but just want to get
on the show.
