From: Surfer E2468 on 4 Nov 2009 16:47 Do not consider the e-mail annoyances, rather a nice touch added to your cruise, they do not force you into booking shore excursions, that is entirely up to you,and nowhere did it say you HAD to book them or the spa or the specialty restaurants. But a nice gesture in case you wanted to cruise lover(~~~~~) ..

Although a very nice person, he rather isolated himself from the passengers. He did not do the bridge tour but had one of his officers take it. He was at the Welcome Party for all passengers and for the Elite Member Party. He had more of a reserved personality...not as out going and warm as Captain Ionnis who was out and about the ship mingling with the passengers on our trans-Atlantic. No complaints...just differences in personalities. He did do a good job...with just a different style. --Jean
