I know it is ealry but I was doing a quick look at room prices for
the first week of March Madness. I noticed something strange. The
first weekend is March 17-20. So a person would get into town either
Wed night(16th) or Thur morning(17th) and then leave on Mon(21st). I
notice that all the strip hotels are charging more for Sun night than
they are for Fri and Sat night, in fact the rates the whole week
starting the 20th are high. Is there something going on that week? I
did a quick look at the LV Convention site and the biggest convention
has 3,000 people. The NASCAR race is usually the begining of March.

Is there an event that I am missing?
