From: aksco33 on 26 Jul 2008 02:10 Hello--we are staying in a 2 bedroom this coming December and was wondering what the best area would be to stay in? Since December is a hit or miss on warm weather swimming may not be a priority but if we get the chance, going to the main pool would be nice so does SSR have an internal bus route incase we end up in the furthest area and want to head to the main pool and food area? It looks like The Springs and one of the buildings in the Grandstand looks good to be close to the food/main building area. Thanks for the information. Amy

Amy I was at SSR 10/2007, and at that time, they didn't have an internal bus route ala CBR. I was in the Paddock, and it wasn't that bad of a walk, since there was a bridge across the lake right by us. But if you're in one of the outlaying areas, it could be quite a hike... There's a resort map here if you don't have one... http://keanespics.com/ThemeParks/WDW_SSR.htm Have fun! From: Postalpat on 27 Jul 2008 18:51 They do not have an internal shuttle bus but use there regular busses as a shuttle. From every stop but The Springs you simply get on any of the park busses except the bus to downtown then exit at The Springs stop which is directly across the street from the main pool and dining area. To return to your room area simply board the downtown Disney bus as this runs the bus stop route backwards from all the others. SSR is our DVC home resort and we have not had any trouble using this system although busses are a little crowded first thing in the morning.
