From: TexGal on 6 Jun 2010 21:29 While I'm in San Diego, I'd like to do a city hop-on hop-off tour. Research shows that there are at least 3 companies offering the tours. Has anyone used any of the three and, if so, do you mind sharing your experience. Old Town Trolley Tours Starline Tours (double decker bus) Viator Hop on Hop Off Trolley/Bus Tours Thanks for any replies! Donna

After doing one, you may also want to investigate the trolley system. Not a tour but for $5 dollars a day you get a day pass on they trolley/metro system that covers San Diego county. So if your the type to buy a guide book and go it alone, its a great option. Also San Diego has a lot of free and almost free stuff always going on and its a great way to get to them. -Linnie

I'll have to check but I believe we'll be in port for about 8 or 9 hours. I guess it's time for me to do my homework :) Regards, Donna
