From: Bob Me. on 27 Apr 2010 20:34 Appears that one of the Disney transport boats that go from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney was involved in a collision with a rental boat near the Treehouse villas. A passenger on the rental boat was seriously injured. The article mentions that charges are pending against the rental boat driver. From: Patricia Barber on 28 Apr 2010 15:17 Wonder if it was a kid? We ran into this same problem when we were there a couple of years ago. Kids and I mean 12 to 14-year-olds playing chicken with the shuttle to DD from POR and hitting us more than once. I thnk our captain had to call in to have them corraled and return the little boats. Not fun. Sorry about the injuries but must have been pretty traumatic for the passengers and captain as well.
