From: John Sisker on 29 Jul 2010 09:19 To Whom It May Concern: We received this press releases from Norwegian Cruise Line and thought it may be of interest to this newsgroup as well. John Sisker Ship-To-Shore Cruise Agency http://www.shiptoshorecruise.com Dear Travel Partner, We are thrilled Norwegian Epic is receiving such terrific media coverage as well as extremely positive comments from guests after her first Caribbean cruises. No doubt you've seen the media reports of record breaking week after record breaking week of sales and the momentum is continuing into this week as well. Thank you for driving these outstanding results! Today I am writing with a few ideas to take full advantage of the positive market force that is Norwegian Epic. Ride the media wave. Share Norwegian Epic media coverage with your team members and customers. Links to Cruise Critic messaging appear below and a full kit containing articles from the Los Angeles Times, New York Post, Miami Herald, Associated Press, Incentive Magazine, NY1 and more is available as well. I use the word wave intentionally, because we are experiencing wave season volumes these past weeks, continuing into this week. There is a great opportunity for you to continue to capitalize on this out of season wave! Whether it is by capitalizing on our very attractive group program, or taking advantage of the Norwegian Epic launch offer, the Hello Balcony! promotion or some other opportunity you are focused on, there is business out there and consumers are excited! Many travel partners have asked when we will be updating our online photo library, replacing Norwegian Epic renderings with actual photos. A number of new images are already available, you can download them by following this link - http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/pressroom/imageLibraryDetail.html?groupId=Epic . Our marketing team was aboard Epic last week, performing video and photo shoots and are now editing in preparation for release of a brand new series of stills and videos in the next few weeks. In the interim we have created some additional tools you may want to consider: Click here to view a short, 5-minute Animoto Epic 'teaser' for viral use (http://animoto.com/play/wtR9ovk7HFfqRRExzPTW1Q). Feel free to share this 'teaser' video on your Facebook and Twitter pages. One of our most popular Epic launch tools was YouTube. We now feature over 20 'Epic Moments' on YouTube which can also be shared with agents and customers by visiting www.ncl.com/youtube. With the launch of Epic we announced an enhancement to 'My NCL', our online pre-cruise registration program, allowing guests to pre-book both Epic entertainment and restaurants. Interestingly, use of this tool is resulting in an improved consumer understanding of Freestyle Cruising, giving your frontline agents the opportunity as experts to make the Freestyle Cruising experience come to life, pre-cruise. As part of this conversation, you may also mention Freestyle Cruise Rewards ( http://www2.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/cruise-rewards), laying the groundwork for your clients to purchase their next cruise while offering an opportunity to earn $100 shipboard credit on their upcoming cruise. Thank you again for driving such an Epic success! Let's take this great opportunity to maximize the momentum.
