From: STAR on 5 Aug 2010 06:12 Any help would be appreciated regarding cruising next year (from 8-10 days). My criteria includes mild to warm weather, calm seas and going into ports to avoid rough tendering. (I don't want to ruin my trip with uncomfortable small boat rides if possible, not a fan of water. Having said that you may think I should do a land vacation instead of a cruise....My interests include Barcelona, Cannes, Monte Carlo, St. Tropez, Sicily and parts of Italy and anything else that might be spectacular and not to be missed. Thanks, GC

Constantly, I receive mail on a daily basis, I just thought with everyone's experience here I might learn a thing or two of some great experiences (or avoidance) that someone has had using a particular cruise/land excursion.

Must be the worms up his rump :) We have taken RCCL Brilliance around the Med and across the Atlantic on a repositioning. 14+ days, don't recall but it was great. Several people we know have taken the Crystal line and very much enjoyed that experience. Same with Seven Seas. But the one thing you will have to decide is do you want to cruise or see Europe. Cruising isn't a good choice for seeing destinations for the reasons you mentioned. We land vacation preferably and only cruise the Med when we desire the ship and the sea. let me know, all assistance is free of charge! -- Ari Silverstein, C.T.A; C.T.A.S, FREE Cruise Travel Advisory Services Sign up for special email deals @ www.CruiseQuick.com - Sells more cruises than 99% of the agencies in America.
