From: Caren on 8 Mar 2010 21:30 Yesterday I went to Animal Kingdom and Epcot and, somehow, wound up doing the same thing today. We were going to hit Animal Kingdom for early entry but didn't get there until 8:45--takes some time to get going in the morning. We headed straight back to the gorillas. Mama was carrying baby around in one arm and gathering heads of romaine lettuce, somehow winding up with an armload of baby and lettuce. Once she came right up to the window as if she were showing off her new baby girl. Very cute. I took a few photos but none of them really showed the baby. From there on to safari and tigers and suddenly it was time for an early lunch at Tusker House. After eating at Sanaa, Boma, and Tusker House all in the span of two days, I'd rate Sanaa best followed by Tusker House with Boma, sadly on the bottom. Boma is still good, but it's slipped. After lunch, Flights of wonder--always interesting to see what you can train birds to do--and back for a rest before heading to Epcot. At Epcot, we rode Spaceship Earth, trying it out different languages. Can't say it's much different in German. Deb did it in Japanese and is convinced you don't really need any narration with this ride. Then--after a short Off Kilter pause--off to start a Kim Possible adventure at the International Gateway. First thing they did was give us a ticket and send us to Norway. It was a long ways to Norway, but we did eventually make it there and went on to save China from--I'm not actually sure what we saved China from. I may try this again, but was rather underwhelmed by the whole experience, which seemed to consist largely of going somewhere else, "Quick, go someplace else before the Ninja Monkeys get you." In the middle of Kim Possible, we stopped for dinner in Morocco. The vegetarian platter at the Tangierine Cafe is one of the great meals of the World. I order it every time and I'm not even a vegetarian. It included--let me see if I can remember it all, falafel, some kind of bread, tabouli, hummus, lentil salad, and a couscous salad. We ran out of steam before Illuminations. Time to go back to our room for a bit of reading and Japanese TV. -- Caren TDC Queen of Adventureland

We get a side of the marinated olives and couscous and it's enough for the two of us. And we are not vegetarians either. It's just a very satisfying meal.
