"Owner Sutter Street Investments LLC filed for reorganization Dec. 21. A
sister company that owns the Sheri's building, Highland Street Group LLC,
had filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 22.

David Frank, manager of Resort Entertainment Companies LLC, a Las Vegas
company that manages Sutter Street, said in a court filing that Sheri's has
been operating since 2003 and in 2005 agreed to pay rent to Highland of
$30,000 per month."

So (he) one company owns BOTH the building and the business. Because he
rents from himself AND sets the rent, he "can't afford it". If he DIDN'T
own the building, he'd go to the owner to say " I can't afford it - lower
the rent or I'm out of here". Instead he files for bankruptcy on one and
reorg on the other. Quite a system we have that allows it.

________

To the best of my knowledge strip clubs have NEVER, EVER paid $100 per
patron (sic).

Don't believe everything you read/hear in the media.
