What we were planning on doing was take the TC's with us, and then cash a
couple each day at the hotel. That would give us spending money as well as
have the TC's for backup/security.

I figured the day would come that not many places would take them,
especially now with all the electronic debit cards, etc. I still like them
because it's like having cash, so I don't spend more than what I have
budgeted.

Budget? We don't need no steenking budget. Back when money was an
issue it was well that I scheduled my two weeks to straddle two
months. That way I got a payday to bolster my bank balance.
