Amateur genealogists, gotta love 'em - haven't a clue how to properly research or document, or interpret the validity of sources.

Did the same thing in Croatia several years back - were treated wonderfully by distant cousins, but we had written back and forth and made arrangements for a specific day and time to meet. Unfortunately, one of them, my grandfather's niece, died several days before we arrived, but we did meet other family members.
