Where is the best (but affordable) place to eat in Las Vegas? I don't
want to spend more than $100 for two people.

Ellis Island has a pretty good $6.99 steak special. The steak is boneless top-cut
sirloin, no fat or waste. Comes with soup-or-salad, green beans, choice-of-potato,
and beer or root beer. I had it like three times on my last trip.

Ellis Island is about a half-mile off the Strip, so it helps to have a car. You
wouldn't want to walk there.

You won't do any better than the $12.95 Prime Rib or Porterhouse meals
at South Point. You can pay triple at other places but it won't be a
bit better. Great place with great games too. The special is on the
LVA Top 10 month after month after month.

yes, ellis island is a good deal, but if you arrive at the wrong time, you
may have to wait for a table.
Last night wifie and I stopped in at 500pm and there were 20 people in
line just to ask the girl for a table. The eating area was pretty well
full.
we left and ate supper at home.

Hugo's Cellar is always a good choice for top quality food at a
reasonable price. A couple should have no problem getting out for
under $100.00. It is at the Four Queens.
