Don't get defensive. You don't have to defend yourself. It's your
choice to go and do whatever you want on your vacation. No one ever
questions me because they know how much I love Disney. Even though
this is my 14th trip we're planning, there are still things I haven't
seen or done! Disneyworld isn't just a destination - it's an
immersive experience. It's definitely not an amusement park which is
what I tell everyone right off the bat. Where else can you go on
vacation and feel and act like you are 10 or 12 again and nobody
cares!!!??? Stick to your guns, girl!

Andy says he goes for the food and company! And at my age, I really
don't need to impress others. I like what Steve said.... The giant ah
ha moment.

Most excellent answers. I agree with all of 'em. And Linda, for every
person who bums you out with this, there are 10 who envy your trips. I
am one of them. And don't feel the need to defend yourself cause ya
don't have to. So if they ask why..... TELL 'EM. Tell them the
reasons. It will be big medicine because it will be words from your
heart. Nothing is more powerful than truth. And if ya tell 'em enough
times maybe, just maybe, they will get tired of hearing it and not
bother ya with this silliness anymore. Then if they still ask, pull out
your pictures and slides and camera-phone pics and...... you getting
this? You go girl. :-)

peace out. john

That's it for me! I spend too much time during the year making
decisions that have semi-serious consequences if I get it wrong. At
Disney, my most serious decision is where to eat dinner or what ride
I'm headed for next.

Thanks to each and everyone of you. You're all the best. I was having the worst
day at work, had to make some decisions that were "unpopular" but had to be
made. And then another remark was made about me going solo to Disney and what
does my husband think? Hello - women are allowed to vote now.

I knew if I came to my Disney friends that all "get it" that I'd feel better. I
usually don't care what people think and do my own thing anyway. But everything
was just getting to me today.

Thank all of you so much. I love RADP and glad we're all here for each other!
