The choice of words? The descriptive imagery? Being unable
to translate something into another language does NOT mean
one cannot comprehend - and appreciate - the original! And
my grasp of "poetic" French is apparently better than yours
- probably from my long acquaintance with opera libretti.
(I don't speak German or Italian well, either, but I am
perfectly capable of reading and understanding newspaper
stories written in all three languages, even though I must
rely upon context to grasp the meaning of some of the words
used.)

The utter lack of real discernment by the person making
them? For a person literate in at least two languages,
Mixi, your lack of reading comprehension is sometimes
staggering! (That's probably why some of us just assume
you're a clever - and successful - troll.)

Hardly "gratuitous", as are so many of yours!

I don't think he's a troll, at least not primarily. I think he's a
socially retarded person who nevertheless is desperate for interaction,
and for something to prop up his self-image, hence his absurdly
inflammatory statements, aimed at eliciting a response. He is so
desperate that he prefers to be abused rather than to be ignored. I'm
reminded of an old and bad joke:
Masochist: "Hit me, hit me".
Sadist: "No".

Then why DO you?
