The old trick, take out the plural. "Me went to the store." or for
"me and him" "him went to the store." The obvious error jumps out at
you. Yeah, great, for a 3 year old. Nothing acceptable about it.

No, that is not what I said. You are paraphrasing based on your
misunderstanding of what I said. I said nothing about warding
anything off. I said that a compromised immune system will produce
fewer symptoms, not more. That's not the same thing.
