If you are arriving at LHR or LGW, you will probably be successful in your
smuggling and evasion of Duty. If to a Provincial Airport, then your chances
are much less. And, as your id seems to contain a valid e-mail address then
you make it even more likely that you will be apprehended. I certainly hope
so.

Have you ever got off an aircraft at a UK provincial airport after an
international flight?

If it's after 3:00pm any customs people have usually gone home. The rest of
the time there's usually a bored single official in the 'RED' channel.

The immigration desk is the only place where you'll see anyone official,
and they're only interested in 'non EC passport holders'.

The single exception is Leeds, and then only during the week, as there's a
customs training school there.
