Yesterday we started the day a bit late, having slept a bit late and
enjoyed a leisurely breakfast of banana pancakes, sausage, fresh
pineapple, and non-Nescafe coffee. We decided that our schedule was to
go over to Epcot for a couple of hours before going back to the Magic
Kingdom for lunch at the Crystal Palace.

When we arrived at Epcot, the crew immediately wanted to get in line
for Spaceship Earth. It was long, but that line moves along. However,
all we got done in Epcot was a ride on Spaceship Earth and a look
around the game gallery at the exit. Isaac was fascinated in a sort of
hockey/shuffleboard game projected on the ground, but there were too
many kids in line for it for him to play before we had to go to lunch.

Part of the trouble of making character meal reservations six months
ahead of time is that you're not sure it's at a good time--at that
point I would have rather eaten lunch at Epcot. But we gamely returned
on the monorail, took the ferry across the lake, and made it to the
Crystal Palace only five minutes late for a meal far more relaxing and
with better food than we had at Chef Mickey's a couple of days
earlier. They were surprisingly taking walk ups for lunch.

On to Toontown to get Mickey's signature. Another long wait, but it
was a cool wait with entertaining cartoons, and Isaac scored his
autographs of Mickey and Minnie. Good thing the train station to the
park entrance was right outside the door--we were pretty wiped at that
point and took the monorail back to the Contemporary.

Back at Bay Lake, we borrowed Lilo and Stitch from community hall,
watched it, went to the pool for a bit, and grilled steaks by the
lake. That took us until after 8:00 when three of us (Bernie was all
for more lounging around at home) walked back to the Magic Kingdom for
MSEP, fireworks, and a few rides. Isaac loves the Aladdin ride and
went on it twice (no accounting for tastes, he also loves the ride in
Mexico). The lineup at the monorail when we left was ridiculous. Good
thing we could walk home.

Today is our day for sleeping in, Downtown Disney, and Cirque du
Soleil.

right now.

I vote during RADP 15 we track down Caren's room for breakfast...

I've been able to get tables for lunch at various places. It's after
4pm that things get impossible.

The entire day without a bus. Someday I'll stay at a monorail resort.
(I keep saying that, but I keep pushing buttons for AKL instead.)

Okay, we may have to track her down for dinner, too.

That's okay. I think it was Alpha's kid that like Magical Express.

Need. To. Make. Reservations. (Have'ta start working on
"I can't, December is too busy a time for me to get away" PiC.)

Thanks for the report, Caren.

Yeah, both of 'em, and make it closer to "love" than "like". :-)

Just let me know ahead of time so I can lay in supplies.
