It was during the day.

OK, I'm not a woman and maybe just genetically I'm missing something
here. But if I WAS a woman I wouldn't want to play dress up as someone
else on my wedding day. Wouldn't a woman want to be herself, the most
beautiful bride in the world, and be so special nobody thinks of
anyone but her that whole evening? Why when a woman gets married would
she want to remind people of Cinderella? Or Ariel? Or Jessica Rabbit?
(Well, just save the Jessica Rabbit for the wedding night. <G>)

This does not compute, Will Robinson.

I agree, Dave. But I'll withhold final judgment until I actually see
photos of the dresses. According to one article I found, the princesses
are simply inspirations for the dresses; the colors will be much more
subtle, as will the style elements. We shall see! They're supposed to
be debuted at a bridal fair in NYC in April, followed by presentations
at the Grand Floridian and then their availability in bridal boutiques.

There is a slideshow on WSJ.com (Wall Street Journal) from yesterday
plus a long-ish article. The dresses look like any other wedding
dresses, only a Disney-phile would recognize the style elements and be
able to place the princess that they come from. They're actually quite
pretty.
