Hi Amanda-
I have to go to WDW on the 22. My weekend is planned around other
events involving my parents who live near Jacksonville. I guess I
could go to another park- but I realy wouldn't want to go to AK in the
heat. I had originally thought of the MK but decided against it. I'd
go to the Studios but there are really only a couple of things that I
like there so that would be waste of a ticket. Do you think the MK
would be better? Oh, now I'm so confused!

Hi Bob-
Thanks for the advice. I'm not a FL resident though- just visiting
from MA. So I guess I won't bother with an upgrade.

Yes, the MK would be better. You will have very late hours there
anyways, because it's summer time.

And I know it seems like Epcot would be the best park to beat the heat
because most attractions are indoors, but if you think about it, that's
even more true of the Magic Kingdom. The only outdoor attraction that
doesn't move fast is the Jungle Cruise! The real secret to the coolness
of the MK is that there's not far to walk from one air conditioned spot
to another. Epcot has huge distances to cover outdoors, with no shade.
There's a lot of shaded ways to walk around in the MK.

And here's my final plug for the MK - you will get to see the new summer
fireworks show and the Main Street Electrical Parade! Epcot ain't got
nothing on that, in my book. :-)

Even with a voucher you can get FP's. You'll trade the voucher for a
regular one-day park pass and then that can be used to get all the FP's
you'd be entitled to.

The FP machines are usually closed during EMH, but if you have an FP
from earlier in the day, they will usually still honor it.

Thanks Rodney-
I thought that I had read somewhere on RADP that FP were not
available to someone who was using a voucher. If I can get FPs then
that would be great. I'm sure that is the only way that I could get on
Soarin'. Of course by the time I get to the park, the FP for Soarin'
may be all gone. But that's okay. I'm kind of looking at this as just
a way to spend the day- I'm not that concerned about riding every ride
and seeing every attraction. I've been to Epcot enough and I know I
will be back. I'm kind of just looking forward to wandering around WS-
even if crowded- and just enjoying being there. Maybe even walk out
the back gate and take the boat around the lagoon. I've been there
over Christmas break so I know what the crowds can be like-
