From: Doctor Bob on 8 Jun 2010 21:49 Just got back from the M resort after a wonderful brunch with Walt, Thomas and Margaret. $15 for a VERY good choice of everything, including some wonderful deserts, of which Thomas and Walt tried valiantly to completely devour. 9 out of 10 guys!!! Me, well when the beer and wine *IS* included in the price,,,,, Yes its a bit of a ride out but well worth it. The view from Thomas's room was astounding indeed. The selling point was the bath tub that faced the window,,, with the glass panel! So you can admire the view while wallowing in there! Time for me to have a quick nap to recharge my batteries, then I'll upload this and try out the BJ tables. From: Mr. V on 9 Jun 2010 01:25 Please post some more info about M, especially the casino itself, as I'll be checking it out this weekend.

We spent very little time there today apart from the buffet. The casino reminds one of the other outlying upscale places like Red Rock, but still has its own look and vibe. I've only played poker there in the past, so I can't tell you about the table games other than that they have them! Its main customer base is definitely locals, but it's a lovely place for out-of-towners to visit or stay at. They offer shuttles to/from the airport and Fashion Show Mall, though it's far preferable to have a car. --- Walt ----- : the next generation of web-newsreaders : http://www.recgroups.com

I'm absolutely loving my stay here. Apart from the obvious location problem, the room isn't all that large by any means but designed just the way I like it, with the aforementioned bathtub facing the Strip, a tv built-in in the mirror, a huge selection of cable tv channels, a walk-in shower, two great chairs and a Bose sound system being some of the things I like best. In the casino, there's the free soft drinks, truly nice employees, some decent vp, and very interesting restaurants including Babycakes that sells the fantastic gelato from the buffet if you don't want to line up for that. Also. A deli and a beer bar. The pool isn't Vegas' best, but has a nice atmosphere and I enjoyed my time there. Easy parking and generally short walks. I'll post pictures after my return. I'm actually sad to move on to Aria later today. Thomas -- Thomas
