From: Buddenbrooks on 8 May 2010 01:16 Probably I will have to make a decision before any answers but. My flight today Bristol Faro is cancelled due to ash over Portugal. I cant rebook return part on-line as I have already checked in. Says to call reservations. Will they do the return part free of additional charge? Anyone done this?

If the second flight is cancelled- then yes, they'll have to re book you or give a refund. Ryanair don't sell return flights, they're all single journeys Jan

Pretty sure when the various "experts" were on TV answering questions during the last Ash bout. Ryanair was a named airline that wouldn't pay out for the "return" part of a trip, that someone couldn't take beacause he couldn't get there to actually not take it !!! Obviously the best thing you can do is speak to Ryanair. Jan
