You guys are too funny, lol! The chocolate thing turned out to be 2
weeks (not 3) but the doc said go ahead and have chocolate if I want
to....I haven't yet, though.

Posting anything long felt like too much work, so the caringbridge
thing didn't get updated as quickly as I'd have liked. After getting
through the usual online stuff I needed a break from typing with 1
hand.

It's great to be home now - recuperation is going well but it's
exceedingly slow! That's to be expected the first 2 weeks though, and
I'll be halfway through that tomorrow night. Thank you for all the
guestbook comments. I was so amazed reading them after I was home.

Tonight I go "out" for the first time - we have a 6pm meeting at work
that I need to attend, so I'll have to wear something other than PJs!

I hit my 1 week mark yesterday - and have yet to go out. My first real
outing will be an ACS Relay for Life event -
http://www.facebook.com/rita.lewis#!/event.php?eid=141621982520409&ref=mf I
feel obligated since I'm a sub-committee member - and it is something
that is REALLY worth the effort!

It's great that you're feeling well. I knew yours would be a speedy
recovery.

If you have a work meeting so soon after surgery... wear the PJs ;-)

Been there, done that. I had the attention span of a cat.

BTW, if you clap, what does it sound like?

I found recovery better than waiting for the darned surgery.
A little more painful, but at least my blood pressure returned
to normal...

The incision I had was right at the waistline, so I wore sweats to
work for three weeks! I love dressing in urban slob!

Glad to see you're doing well!
